Making your event public will allow anyone on the internet to view the details of your event. They will also be able to rate the manliness of your manvite thus making you eligible for the Manvite Hall of Fame.
Public events are also useful for manvites that you want to get passed around (like your best friend's sister) - such as house parties, concerts, sporting events, restaurant and club openings, or anything you think is so incredibly sick that other men should have a right to view it, attend it, and, ideally, learn from it.
